Why Hype Window
Stop missing
the good one.
There are too many games and not enough of you. So you miss the one that goes to overtime — the one everyone's still talking about the next morning. Hype Window exists to make sure that stops happening.

The problem
Twelve games at once. You picked the wrong one.
On a good night there are a dozen games going at the same time. You settle on one, it turns into a blowout, and you find out the next day that three tabs over there was a triple-overtime classic you slept through. The highlights are everywhere by morning. You were right there and you missed it.
The scoreboard can't help you here. It tells you who's winning — never whether a game is about to become the one worth watching. That gap is the whole problem. It's the reason for the FOMO, and it's what we built to close.
The insight
The turn shows up in the signals first.
When a game is quietly turning into something, it leaves a trail before the broadcast catches up. The odds move. The win probability swings. Momentum tilts. Those signals react in seconds — long before casual fans think to tune in.
“The market realizes the game is changing
before casual fans do.”This is the academically defensible read — Levitt (2004) and the closing-line literature. The market is the fastest crowd on earth, and its movement is a legibility signal: it makes visible that a game is changing. That's all we use it for. Not advice. Not a wager. A read on when to look up.
The product
A score, an alert, a receipt.
We turn that insight into three things you can actually use — the prediction, the ping, and the proof.
01
One live score
Every game gets a single watchability number from 0 to 100, updating in real time as the game breathes. Not the score of the game — the score of whether it's worth your attention right now.
02
An alert the instant it turns
When a game crosses into must-watch, you hear from us — and only then. The rarest tier, DROP EVERYTHING, is once-a-week territory. When it lands, stop what you're doing.
03
A receipt afterward
After the buzzer, we show the proof: we called it, minutes early. When we flagged it, how far ahead of the moment, how it paid off. The misses are on the record too.
What you get
Built for the fan who can't watch everything.
If you love this stuff but can't keep twelve tabs open, this is for you.
⚡
See it before the group chat
The odds, the win probability, the momentum — they all move before casual fans tune in. We read that turn in real time, so you're already watching when everyone else is still scrolling.
🎯
Zero FOMO
You can't watch every game, and you shouldn't have to. We watch all of them and tell you exactly when to tune in — one alert, the instant a game crosses into must-watch. Turn it on, catch the ending, close the tab.
🧾
We show the receipts
After the final whistle, we prove it: when we flagged the game and how many minutes early. The misses are on the record too — the prediction, the alert, the proof is the whole product.
🧭
One number, no noise
Not the score of the game — the score of whether it's worth your attention, from 0 to 100. Reason chips explain why it's climbing in plain language. No black box, no hot takes, no clutter.
Where we sit
Hype Window is not a betting tool.
No picks. No bets. No sportsbook. We compete with X/Twitter trending, the ESPN app, and the group chat — the places you already go to find out what's good tonight. We are not DraftKings, FanDuel, or any sportsbook. The number tells you when to watch, never what to wager.
“We don't just tell you the score. We tell you when to watch.”
Straight answers
Is Hype Window a betting app?
No. Hype Window is not a betting tool. There are no picks, no bets, no sportsbook. We read odds only as a signal for when the market realizes a game is changing — a legibility read, not wagering advice. Our competition is X/Twitter trending, the ESPN app, and your group chat, not DraftKings or FanDuel.
How is this different from ESPN score alerts?
Score alerts tell you what already happened — a lead changed, a game ended. Hype Window tells you what's about to be worth watching. We score every live game from 0 to 100 on watchability and ping you the moment one turns must-watch, minutes before the broadcast and the group chat catch up. It's the difference between a box score and a tip-off.
